President Trump has responded to last week’s terror attack on two National Guard soldiers in Washington, DC, by vowing to end all immigration from radical Islamic hotbeds like Afghanistan. According to the President, this will include reviewing the status of any Afghans currently living in the United States.
Last week, an Afghan national murdered one National Guard member and critically wounded another while shouting “Allahu Akbar.” How did this happen? In 2021, then-President Joe Biden let in approximately 100,000 Afghan refugees—and it appears that properly vetting them wasn’t much of a priority for his administration. Neither was border security.
The days of unfettered borders and immigration are now gone under the Trump Administration, and God willing, they are never coming back to America.
In a cabinet meeting on Tuesday, the President stated: “For six months in a row, zero illegal aliens have been admitted into the United States. You believe that? Zero. We had millions of people coming in a year, millions. Now we have zero for six months.”
This is an astounding development. We had up to 20 million people enter the United States illegally during the Biden years. Now we have none, and Trump’s team is tracking down and deporting the many bad actors who entered America under the previous administration.
Those deportations, along with Trump’s vow to shut down immigration from places like Somalia and Afghanistan, has sent the left into a tizzy. Apparently, Democrats want to turn America into Western Europe, where mass Muslim immigration and lax border security are the norms.
How is that working out for the Europeans? Well, over in Brussels, Muslims waving Palestinian flags and chanting pro-Hamas slogans stormed a Christmas market over the weekend—and they weren’t spreading holiday cheer. Those Islamists decapitated the head of baby Jesus in a nativity scene, showcasing the true target of their vitriol.
We saw a similar situation in Germany, where Islamists showed up at a Christmas market in Essen, waving Syrian flags and chanting “there is no God but Allah” and, of course, “Allahu Akbar.”
Just last year, an Islamic jihadist drove a car into a crowd at the Christmas market in Magnaberg, Germany, killing six people and wounding over 300 more. This year, the Magnaberg Christmas Market has been cancelled, and Christmas markets across Germany are ramping up security due to the Islamic threat.
This is the new Germany. Back in 2015, former Chancellor Angela Merkel opened Germany’s borders to approximately 1 million Muslim refugees, many of them from Syria. Now they have Christmas markets resembling war zones.
Folks, the next time you hear the left in America howling over President Trump’s immigration policies, remember the ongoing chaos in Europe and know that it’s not too late for America to avoid the same fate.
Europe isn’t the only place where Christians are being targeted by Islamic terror. While much of the world looks away, a silent genocide is unfolding in Nigeria, featuring mass killings, kidnappings, and relentless jihadist attacks against Christians.
Nigeria is perhaps the world’s main hot spot for Christian persecution right now, and radical muslims are committing this atrocity. Thank God President Trump is holding the extremists accountable and calling them out—just as he has with the threat of mass Islamic immigration in America. We need much more of it.
